The change

Internal hiring is a key business driver for McGregor Boyall and we worked with them to create a standalone recruitment site as they sought to augment their workforce by adding a range of new talent from graduates to experienced Recruitment Consultants and Associate Directors.

They wanted something that aligned with their brand but stood out from the competition, establishing McGregor Boyall as an employer of choice.

The site needed to effectively showcase life at McGregor Boyall, emphasizing aspects such as comprehensive training and development opportunities, clear career progression paths, the vibrant social atmosphere within the company, and the rewards and recognition available to employees.

To do this we created a new sub-brand “We are McGregor Boyall” and organised a photoshoot and over a week of filming to create seven new brand films to be used across the site.

We’ve been working with 438 for over 5 years now and from the beginning, the team demonstrated a deep understanding of our brand, our goals and our audience. They took the time to get to know us and our business inside and out, and their expertise in website design, branding and content creation has been invaluable in helping us launch new initiatives and achieve our objectives.

Why it matters

In the two months after launch, the new site welcomed over 1,100 visitors, marking an 8% increase compared to the previous two months. This led to a 33% rise in applications and a remarkable 120% increase in hiring and a huge saving on recruitment fees.
